Patient gowns, treatment-table sheets, face cradle covers (where the practice uses them), hand towels, hot towels, treatment-room towels, uniforms, and bench cloths. Anything machine-washable that a clinical environment runs through.

We use a fragrance-free, sensitive-skin detergent that's stronger than most on the market. Oxy bleach is available on request for extra cleaning on oil-stained or heavily-soiled items. You can also supply your own detergent if you have a specific formulation. We don't claim to meet any named hygiene standard and we don't promise stain removal — we'll tell you upfront if a stain isn't coming out.

Most clinics we work with had been running an in-house washing machine for years before switching. The breaking-point is usually a hygiene scare — a tripped breaker overnight that meant Monday morning's clean linen wasn't actually clean, or a domestic-machine cycle that ran cold and the operator didn't notice. Outsourcing converts that risk into a managed rotation.

Operationally, it's also about reception time. Clinic receptionists shouldn't be running washing between bookings. Every minute saved on the in-house wash cycle is reception time recovered for patient follow-up, scheduling, and the front-of-house experience patients are actually paying for.

Most small-to-mid clinics fit inside a twice-weekly 2-load pickup schedule. Higher-volume practices (multi-practitioner allied health, busy dental surgeries) typically run weekly 3-4 loads or twice-weekly 2-3 loads. Book a regular slot at thewashing.club.
